Goldspot Brewing Company
The Goldspot Brewing Company located just north of I-70 and Lowell Boulevard is indeed a "gold spot" in Denver's brewing ballyhoo. Tucked into a small old-town retail stretch just a block from Regis University in the Regis neighborhood, they fill a tiny brewing void in this North Denver area. Goldspot makes good use of their space in this one-story 1930s brick building. The brewery is tucked into the back corner which leaves a spacious and sunny tasting room up front. A garage door on the front façade will give it a nice open feeling in the warmer months and with a dozen or so seats at the bar, several high-top tables, and a great 10-foot+ long bench, there is plenty of room for you and a few friends to down a few rounds.
One note; we try to refrain from sharing our opinions on this website. We prefer to present the facts of each establishment and let you, the beer drinker decide. But after drinking so many watery, uninspired or ridiculously over-hopped beers in this, some might argue, overcrowded brewing scene of Denver, it's truly refreshing to find a place that does it right. We tried their flight of 6 and were pleasantly surprised at each of their offerings. We’re not going to go into detail for each beer here, but we highly suggest you make your way to the Goldspot and give it a try yourself.
